Had a nice one-night stay for exploring the local art scene. The room was beautiful and comfortable, complete with an impressive dual showerhead that made for a great bath experience. It's also conveniently located near places like the Farnsworth Art Museum and Landing Gallery, which I enjoyed visiting. However, I did miss the personal touch usually found at a bed and breakfast, as there was no one around to provide service during breakfast.

beautiful late 18th-century building, comfortable ornate inn, dual showerhead in bath
No one available for check-in or check-out!!! Breakfast felt like a simple motel experience without fresh service or personal touch!!! More engaging interactions would make a difference!!!

The building impresses with its late 18th-century architecture and has been lovingly maintained, offering a comfortable and ornate stay. The bed in the Deluxe Queen Room was excellent, and the dual showerhead added a luxurious touch. While breakfast options included local bread, the experience felt lacking without staff presence to enhance the service. A staff member, Mary, stood out with her gracious assistance, yet a more personalized service at breakfast would elevate the experience further.

Couple's perfect getaway
We were greeted like family as soon as we arrived! The owners Cheryl and Mike made sure we felt right at home, which was surprising. The evening pie service was a nice touch. It, like no detail was too small.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still manageable.
